I ordered a High Sierra backpack and got the delivery on 8th December. Looking at the poor packaging I sensed something was wrong. The delivery/packaging guys of Jabong seemed an illiterate lot, they had bent the internal frame of the bag and packed in half the size of packaging material, resulting in the item getting damaged. On 8th itself, I requested for a reverse pickup, which was done promptly. But to my utter dismay, I am yet to get my refund back in my credit card. If you choose to get the money refunded to your credit card, Jabong takes ages to acknowledge the request, and that is done purposefully to frustrate you so that you are forced to accept their crappy Jabong credits.
Someone named Bhooshan wrote me a mail, to which I responded expecting a call from either him or some senior person to understand my problem, but these guys are way too complacent to bother about customer dissatisfaction. My money is still not with me. However I have received a mail today that the process has been "initiated"(today= 22nd December).
Note:
Jabong charges for Cash on Delivery. If you return the material, the COD charges are not reverted.
Jabong does not mention any policy regarding faulty goods delivered in their web page. This is a well drafted policy to arm twist unsuspecting customers.
The product range is extremely limited when it comes to the better products of the brands which they sell. They deal mostly with back dated items(off the shelf) when it comes to their aggressive deals.
Note: This is not a product rating. This is a rating of the Jabong experience, which per my understanding is doing an extremely shoddy job. I think their strategy is to bluff their investors by showing high hits in their web site. They are not interested in customer satisfaction.
