The below review "text" is original from 31/5/13 and I am leaving it here without editing as proof of how much things have changed. I now almost exclusively shop everything from jabong and can vouch for it to be the best e-commerce fashion site in India as of today. This review will no longer get any updates so just look for my ratings out of 5 on the top "bars" appearing at the top of this review.

Since I’ve discovered jabong, I’ve placed several orders on it and I’ve been checking it regularly fishing for good deals. So I’m going to rewrite full review based on those.
The site - No doubt jabong has the best site in comparison to its competitors. Very catchy homepage, awesome load time, lots of filters and categorizations, crystal clear pictures and over all a great navigation and online experience. Even if you don’t plan to buy anything right away, you’d enjoy scrolling through the wide range of products.
The collection - Jabong has everything from clothes to furniture to home decor to sports utility to pretty much anything you’d want to look for in an online site. The collections(specially home decor) are fresh and not very common. You’ll definitely end up finding something here for your home that you won’t find anywhere else. Jabong has also made it a point to focus more on established brands which is a smart move because quality is always an issue with unknown sellers, specially as far as customer’s trust factor is concerned.
The products - a lot of what you buy depends on who you buy from. If you’re buying shoes from lee cooper or carlton london for eg., naturally they’ll be good. But if you’re buying, say, a bedsheet from a seller never heard of before, you can never be sure of what to expect. So make sure to read the product descriptions very carefully(like the material used in making). I bought loafers from carlton london, which were obviously good. But I also bought a mona lisa besheet(which turned out to be mostly polyster and really uncomfortable) and peacock print cushion cover set of 5 in silk whose silk wasn’t as good as I hoped for. Now these aren’t problems with jabong, these are problems with our expectations. Like, when you see a bedcover you like, don’t naturally assume it will be 100% cotton. Get your fact right and if you do not like the product, make use of jabong’s return policy. Sadly for me, I’m not much of a returns person so I never sent back any of the products I didn’t like. But as long as you’re sticking to brands you actually know of, buying things from jabong should be no issue at all.
prices - THIS. is one sore point for me when buying from jabong. The prices aren’t unfair, yes, but they are also not competitive. If jabong wants returning customers, they need to work out better deals for them. Specially because many times a certain product is cheaper on other places than it is on jabong which discourages the customers. They need to take into consideration the fact an average Indian want value for money and most products on jabong fall into "indulgence" category, not value for money. Its the only reason competitors are still managing to pull customers from jabong, because they are offering better prices. but all is not bad, read below about discounts.
Discounts - regular jabong prices not doing for you? No problem! Jabong often launches its upto 70%+ 25%/15% off offers that will help you some great buys well within your "reasonable" range. Also look out for clearance sales, they too give good discounts.
shipping - the shipping is fairly timely and hassle free, you get regular updates on your mobile for tracking and based on your location you might even end up getting your delivery within a day.
Variety - Jabong has a lot of variety, no doubt, but I wish they would focus more on bringing in new trends. People want to buy what’s not seen before, not what everyone else is selling. It would also be great to expand their catalog of existing brands. There were few things I wanted to buy from jabong only to realize they were not listed here although they were available on brand’s site and other online portals. So more range from big brands would be great.
Final verdict - All in all, as far as trust factor is concerned the reviews on MS itself should tell you that jabong takes customer satisfaction seriously, it is the one thing that makes them class apart from others. Jabong still has areas to improve, but it is one of the those places where if you actually like something enough to buy, you can place your order with eyes closed without the fear of getting duped. Do try it out and see for yourself if the site can offer you what you need.
