Wrong color dress was shipped. Called Jabong customer care immediately and requested to look into the wrong product delivered. requested to send the correct dress immediately. The customer care indicated that a complaint will be lodged and someone form higher management will call to fix the issue on high priority. they tried calling on Dec 31st evening when obviously people will not be free and waiting for their call. Then they sent a mail indicating that they could not reach us.
Called customer care again and the same response. Asked me to file a complaint and wait for 48 hours. then I had to follow up after 2 days. finally someone called and started giving gyan on opening the parcel as soon as it arrives. the parcel came in the afternoon to the home and why would any open a girls dress and check on the spot? the parcel was received by my brother. then they recommended that I ask for a refund or return it.
Why was this not indicated to me why I called first time? why make me wait and follow up for 1 week? they also indicated that, it would take 5 days for someone to pick up the dress. 1 more week to reach thier warehouse and then they would do investigation on what went wrong. and during all this time, the money that I paid wil be with them and refunded after investigation. literally, I was being punished for ordering stuff in Jabong and the fault was from the Jabong side. I asked them to send the dress that I ordered and they indicated that the dress was not available. So, looks like they just sent what they had and was playing with customer time and money.
