I am a first year student at jadavpur university. It is one of the best colleges in India. It occupies rank 84 among the best asian colleges for engineering. It is listed in top ten research centers in India.
When I came college first I as well as maximum of first year were a little bit nervous. The next day seniours organized a orientation programme for first years. A writing was given to every first years which is about the college. On the cover page there was a sentence, "some call it jadavpur, some call it university, we call it life. Welcome to life.". I astonished thinking that "will there be a lot of funs like schools".
Now a days I have jumbled in jadavpur’s earth. I have learnt to enjoy life not outstripping studies. It’s my college. It’s my life.
