Jagga Jasoos is a story of a detective named Jagga, which is casted by Ranbir Kapoor. He used to live happily with his accident prone father. But suddenly his father disappears after admitting him to the boarding school. Though he gets a recording from his father on his every birthday. Born with special detective skills, Jagga went to find out his father. He met Shruti, casted by Katrina Kaif. On the mission to find his father, he finds himself trapped in a smuggling racket.
Though Anurag Basu tried a lot to produce a good detective story, the story looks like a comedy one in comparison to Sherlock Holmes and others.
A detective should be a definite and a sharp one, not one who is fun and frolic; that makes him rather a comedian instead of detective.
Well Ranbir and Katrina left no stones unturned to show their skills.
As Pritam always amazes with his music, this time is also not a exception.
Ravi Barman has to do a way lot better in his cinematography to flourish in the industry, atleast to my point of view.
I would definitely not recommend you to spend your valuable time and money in watching this film, rather watching few episodes of SH would be far better.
