Jagga jasoos was one of the most awaited Basu movie but it turned out to be complete tragedy. It was a actually a musical but the direction completely failed to do justice to the story. It was nothing more than an experiment gone bad.
It runs on a very poor plot and direction.
It is actually a spy adventure movie which is somewhat similar to Tin-Tin in which the main character is looking for his lost father. Ranbirs performance was on the appreciable side but Katrinas as usual expressionless acting ruined the performance as well. The movie was actually meant for kids but failed to amuse them too.
The story is presented in a chapter format which is narrated by Shruti, who is played by Katrina Kaif. Jagga, that is Ranbir, with his impressive detective skills sets on a quest to find his missing father and on his way down the journey he finds a journalist Shruti who is on her own quest to solve an international crime. And down the line they find themselves in midst of a smuggling racket.
The story has a poor plot and direction and has failed to live to the expectations.
