It like a musical story.The story starts with a boy born in hospital and he was not taken by his parents and he was liked by everyone in hospital amd after some days a man was admitted and he gave him motivational messages and he adopted Jagga and after some days he went as he was a like a spy and he kept Jagga in a hostel as Jagga grew up he became detective he solved mysteries and one day he saw Shruti( Katrina Kaif) and her activities were like his father and so he followed her and one day while following her he found out that she was on a mission to find out the smugglers who take weapons.
So after some incidents, they team up and found out and then Jaaga was in love with Shruti. In his every birthday his father sends him motivational videos but in his birthday it didn’t come so from somewhere he got to know his dad his dead but he finds out that his father is not dead and so what happens next you should go and find out.
