After Tata bought Jaguar Land Rover in March 2008 we saw quite a few premium luxury cars in India. However, the Jaguar XJL took a lot of time to come to the Indian market after its premiere in July 2009 in London. But the sleek and sporty luxury car with an innovative design, plush interiors and a powerful engine is now on sale in India since 2012.
Exteriors
Jaguar, the British automaker, has always been an epitome of stunning design and intuitive technology. The company has maintained this philosophy in the development of the XJL. The XJL or the long wheelbase is longer than the XJ available in other markets. The body of the car is built using the aerospace-inspired aluminium body technology. The car’s fascia has a wide and bold profile with deep set mesh grille that gets the Jaguar emblem. This is surrounded by Intelligent High Beam Xenon headlamps. The taillamps are LED lamps designed to flow along the lines of the boot down the rear wings.
