Story:-
In Jainism, every pilgrimage has its own story of how idols are recovered from underground.
About 250 years ago, a cow used drop her milk at field and place from where idol was recovered. Owner of cow noticed it and next day, she forcefully tied that cow and did not allow her to go that place. But in the evening cow broke the rope and went there to drop her milk.
Old women told this to villagers and as it was strange for all the villgers they decide to dig that place in search of some god or goddess idol. After digging they found an idol of lord Parshvnath.
That idol was instlled in a temple constructed on that place.
After some years another incident happened in the temple, the idol was broken from its neck, so villager decide to bring idol of Lord Mahavir and dump broken idol into pond. But in this process social worker of Kshetra Shri LachhiRam Kasliwal saw a dream, that idol of lord Parshwnath denied him to drop into pond and asked to dig a pit in a room and place the idol in it and fill the pit with Ghee & Sugar up to top and lock the room for seven days and keep worshiping.
After Seven days idol got jointed, but the mark still remained there. After that all problems and worries were removed from village, thats why, it is named as Chintamani Parshvnath.
It is really a nice place to Visit to fill the Atishay.
