I had less than a month to prepare for my exam. Reluctantly I went to couple of places to check them out. I attended a session by the faculty Mr. Srikanth(Verbal) for about 15 minutes. Thats all I needed - Made up mind to spend the next 25 days and looking back that was a very good decision.
I needed some hand holding in Verbal. My SC was a mess. The faculty was extremely kind and helpful. There were many occasions where he really spent a lot of time clearing my doubts. Thanks to him, I also got a good grip on CR and RC.
My experience with Quant faculty was also excellent. What I really liked is the fact that every faculty member at the Center(whether assigned to you or not) was always willing to help you. In addition to my Instructor(Mr Surya); I had also received very valuable inputs from Mr. Maheshwar as well. Can never forget this ever smiling face and his amazing humility. The most important thing to learn in Quants is how to "intelligently" attack the question - Given 3 hours all of us can solve most of the questions - its performance under time pressure what you really need to learn.
Parallel to GMAT, I also attended sessions by Ms. Sahera(TOEFL Instructor). I had 10 days to training - and my Instructor made it count - every minute. Anyone with an English Education can easily get a score of 95-105. But to get 105+ and to get 25+ under each category requires right kind of insight.
I got 650(V32, Q47) and 107(R26, L28, S26, W27).Wish I had some more days of practice(could not do anything from the Blue Book). Important lesson - its tough to do both exams in just about a month. My advice - please give yourself 3 months of preparation. And can definitely trust Jamboree to help you out. Its definitely worth every Rupee and every Minute of Investment. Both ROI(Return on Investment) and ROTI(Return on Time Invested) is very high!
