It was a dream for me to have "REALLY GOOD" speakers (with a budget of around 50K) and after visits to different dealers short listed Onkyo and Jamo (shortlisted from Yamaha, onkyo, philips, sony, pioneer, klipsch) and again narrowed to Jamo as Onkyo didnt had any floor standing speakers (at least I could not find one in Bangalore for HT in Box).
as S606 was going beyond my budget I zeroed in on below configuration -
Speakers - Jamo S406 (2 front floor standing 1 Center and 2 surround)
Sub Woofer - Jamo Sub200
Amp - Sherwood 6502
DVD player - Onida (which I already had)
I feel I did a mistake as I am more towards listening to Devotional, Fusion and Indian Classical Instrumental.
S406 is no match for such kinda music its suits only to watch movies thats it ...
Other wise service Support/quality of all the speakers/AMP are really good till now (from June 2009)
or if I have to make more simpler statement "my kid enjoys to listen to Rhymes on this"
so at last my dream remains only as "Good" speakers rather than "Really good" speakers.
Cost - 46K (S406 + Sherwood6502 + sub200)
O2 free & other cable - 3000K
