The race begins.....to loose badly

Feroz Khan has made the movie to wish ’’Eid Mubarak’’ to Fardeen on the Silver screen and expects us to watch how he says that!!

Feroz Uncle seems to make this movie in a hurry for the occasion of Eid. I wish he had put some Sheer-Khurma in the movie properly.

For the first time I went to see a Feroz Khan Movie and the experience was

quite disappointing.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham was supposed to have Abhishek and Amitabh but then

Hrithik became Karan’s choice so we couldnt see Father-Son Together.

We were disappointed that in Koi Milgaya Father-Son worked together but

they never came on screen together.

But this time Feroz-Fardeen showed a better father-son relationship but

b-u-t do we go to see their homely matters on screen. Nay!!

Apart from that only music is something which is Oasis in a desert.

Story:- In short its pathetic, just off the track from

India-to-Australia-to-India-back-to-Australia. The whole movie focusses on

Fardeen(Lucky Kapoor) as a champion of the Bike Races waiting for the

Grand ’’Super Bike Racing Championship’’. Being a Bike Racing Freak I was

waiting for that Grand Championship to happen and to my surprise it never

happened till the climax buddy!! Booo what a flaw :-(

Celina Jaitley(Jessica Periera) is in love with Lucky since childhood. She

was shown partially blind due to an accident but there seemed no use of her

shown as Physically challenged coz this concept was never used anywhere

later in the movie.

Harsh Chaaya(Virendra Kapoor) Lucky’s father brings up Jessica but sends

his own child to Australia for an unshown reason !! Huh!!

After Virendra gets killed lucky who used to hate his father all of sudden

starts loving his father and come back to India to fulfil a promise which

he gave 10 yrs back to his father.

My My the story is just too complex and if you look at it more critically

you wont call it a story man !!

The climax!! we have already seen it it Khaauf starring Sanjay Dutt - Manisha Koirala.

Anyways it was good.

Dialogues:- Some of them are just too good like Feroz Khan(Sabah

Karim Shah) frequently uses ’’Wallah Sabah Karim aurat ko uske husn se aur

Mard ko uski Zaban se pehchanta hai!!’’. ’’Bakhudaa!! Saba Karim ko Khoon Kharabe se sakht nafrat hai par kya kare, Kambakht apni rago mein jo daud raha hai!!’’

But But But many other good ones are pure Arabic or urdu (which is gonna be

sure bouncer for a common man) eg ’’Bachcha !! Hum Hind mein tijarat ke takazey se aaya hai!!’’ means I have come to India for a business

requirement or English for that sake eg Fardeen thankin’ Sabah Karim

for saving his life ’’Thank you Mr.Sabah Karim!! I Owe you my life!!’’

Action:- The best part is the Bike race which is shown in the first

quarter but then a fight sequence suddenly starts again on the Muddy bike

tracks. At one moment I felt I am playing MOTORACE level1 and level2

respectively. Ha! Nothing else some fights in Pubs i.e. the patent of Feroz

khan movies. Some muscle exposing by the Goonda Group Pvt Ltd.

Music:- As I said the music is the only plus point in the movie.

The credit is shared equally by Anand Raaj Anand(Kaante Fame), Mrunal

Sampat, Biddu(Made in India-fame) and Channi Singh(Yalgaar fame). Feroz

Khan has sensible ears call it in Qurbani, Jaanbaaz, Yalgaar or even Prem

Aggan for that matter. Music excels with Sonu Nigam as the pick of all the

album. Check out my review on Janasheen Audio click here https://mouthshut.com/readreview/47804-1.html

Dance:- The dance was just too bad for the beautiful effort of all

of the 4 music directors. Very misdirected inspite of their picturization

in beautiful locations. Dance direction plays an important role after

Hrithik took over the industry. Even new talents like Tusshar Kapoor,

Shahid Kapoor and Zayed Khan are well prepared. Fardeen is an above average

dancer and he has proved that in Khushi(dances directed by Prabhu Deva).

Performance:- Fardeen seems learning but a long way to go. and yeah

Ms Celina Former Miss India lacks confidence in front of camera which is

clearly visible in her way of staring at camera as if shez on the ramp.

Rest all are TV serial stars so no one was that impressive. But Feroz Khan

shakes the silver screen with his performance. He is too confident even

after more than a 10 years of gap just doing justice to his role of a

fugitive from Afghanistan settled in Australia.

Overall the movie is less then average. Only if you are a

female and you like Fardeen go for it (OR) If you are a male and you like

to see Baywatch kinda movies go for it. Critics Beware!!
