Jannat2..sequel of Jannat..a bhatt camp product with emraan hashmi and a pretty face who doesnt know how to act..similar stories and similar climax..
Jannat2 is a story of Sonu KKC(;)) who deals in "cut-piece" bujjjness..named as "Kareena cut piece".but behind the cut piece business is an illegal gun trading business.He is a dealer selling guns to the needy.
Randeep Hooda, a ruthless and headstrong police wallah , who lost his wife in a tragic incident involving guns, is hell-bent to crack the major gun deal planned by a big-wig in gun trading.He decides to plant emraan into the territory and Emraan, besotted by his lady love and in desperation to come out of the dirty business, agrees.
After much twists and turns, finally the gun-trade plan fails, people die and emraan leaves for heaven\hell above!.
End of the story...Both Jannat 1 and 2 had crime in the backdrop and Emraan hashmi’s death in the climax..however, Jannat1 had a cute lovestory while Jannat2’s love story in beyond comprehension.No chemistry between the lead couple.The falling in love angle was simply forced into the story in order to bring the father-in-law gangster twist.There is more chemistry and bonding between Emraan-Randeep than the lead-actors
Emraan Hashmi acted well..But the surprise package was undoubtedly Randeep Hooda.He is a man of less words and more expressions..He looked quiet convincing as a cold-hearted, arrogant, stubborn and Honest Police officer.
The actress, Some esha neither looked pretty nor did she act..what a pity.Bhatt camp should have selected the actress who was in Jannat1 instead of this "new found but total waste" beauty(was she a beauty by the way?)
The story is average but dialogues are full of abusive language which after a certain point of time, fails to make an impact on the viewers.Its too repetitive with only 2-3 expletives being used again and again.They should have been more creative in that aspect at least!
Music undeniably is tuneful and soothing..what else can u expect from a "Bhatt-Emraan" starrer anyway!i fail to understand the secret relationship which this camp and music industry share?
Movie can be ranked as one time watch considering Randeep Hooda, music and post-interval treatment of the story.
Had the story writer and director paid a little more heed to the minor details and little more emotions intot the movie, this story of a rascal could have turned out to be a real Jannat.
My verdict-2 stars for Jannat2.
