Jassi jaisi koi nahin ...had created great expectations.It was a unique theme which highlighted importance of intelligence as against glamour.We were happy when Jassi was chosen by Arman as his secretary and admired Arman’s capability to know a person.Later on we could hardly come across anything which could actually prove that Jassi was a genius.
One could say she was lucky.The serial deteriorated with the entry of Lucky, followed by Arman’s travesty in women’s clothes. You could hardly succeed in creating lighter but intelligent scenes. These were third rate comedies. With disjointed and contrived situations and introduction of new personae at different point of time such as introduction of a person who offered commission to Jassi, Mandira Bedi and of late the two step brothers, the serial has gone haywire. Even Jassi’s gang, Pari, Raj, Nandu, her parents and grandmother have become boring.
Bring back Jassi to her normal, intelligent, stubborn and willy self. Don’t reduce her to the level of dear Parvati bhabhi and Tulsi of Ekta Kapoor brand. Let us have something watchable on screen.
