Recently I was on tour of Jodhpur and I visited this place called just one third are while on my way to the Mehrangarh fort. So this place is on quite a good height from the city and is mostly surrounded by mountains or vacant land around it.
This place is easy easily visible from the fort and I must say that when you watch it from distance this place looks wonderful because of white marble used on building this place. But as soon as you go near this place you start getting the feeling of doubt and disappointment.
Well on the entrance of this place you will find it ticket counter with charges you and average price for visiting this place. But as soon as you enter and start going around new realise that this place as nothing but just a tumbled off white marble. The place as a decent garden and could be used for sitting.
for me the major disappointment was the management of this place because I could see a lot of trash thrown around in the garden. When I asked and inquired about this place well actually I have found out that this place is basically where all the members of royal family of Jodhpur Vir burnt when they died and that is the only significance that this place have. Well I tried to find any decent place to sit but I could not. When I tried to go around I quickly finished this place within some minutes because it has nothing exciting about this place. The only thing you can do while being on this place is sit and relax and take a field of being on a mountain peak ironically.
so to conclude I would not recommend you to go to this place because it is complete waste of time.
