Java city good place to hang out over a cup of coffee before you head out or head home. There are a few branches in bangalore. The one on lavelle road is frequented by all sorts of people and you will definetly see a couple of those spoiled brats on their imported cars and bikes zooming up and down the road. Service at this branch is okay and coffee good, I like the mysore filter coffee, you should try this.The subs are okay and not that bad at all.
The java city or JC for short on church street is where the live Jazz band plays. They have different bands playing there and the bands good, but the problem is that on the weekends when they play the place is packed and so packed that the tables are joined together and if you want to get out for a phone call you will have do a pole valt to get out of there, if you get too close to the front you will get a earful from the music and the service totally sucks on the day the band plays.
I mean if they have such a crowd and dont want to take orders then they are actually losing out on revenue, if you know what I mean.Overall I rate JC higher than the coffee day just because of the crowd, coffee day is more like college going kids and the sort...
