When this man started his career there was a trend
to give chances to senior players. but he flourished
well in the shadow of legendary kapil dev after
him he follow him to be only spear head of the
indian bowling attack for years.now in his retiring
years also ganguly depends very much on him.
actually if indian fielders had taken all the
catches on his bowling his wicket score might have
been 20% more. he did not get enough support by
batsman or speedster in company. now in late days
he is getting good support from zaheer and nehra.
his other partner prasad was not very consistent
in performance. I think he will be very good coach
to breeding cricketers in future as other ones
are not doing this job for the country. his experience
for struggle to hold place in side will definitly
count. I wish him very happy and eventfull future life.
