Actually, Javagal Srinath is indeed a very good bowler, but now he is not the same bowler he used to be. He is now 32 and I think he should retire now. He cannot throw from the outfield nor he can bat or field. This is simply not acceptable in world cricket nowadays. Cricketers should contribute in all the departments, if not possible should atleast try.
His run up is awful, his run up is so slow that it seems he is carrying 5 kgs of rice in a sack on his back, he is so slow. He has no aggression at all, atleast fast bowlers should have some aggression.
Even in the fifth test that is going on, he bowled so badly in the 1st innings and West Indies scored 422. By the time WI took a lead for more than 200 runs, he somehow bowled a good line, but it was too late.
I don’t think that India can save the test and WI will win the series 2-1.
