After a series of failed attempts to entertain the audience, writer B.V.S. Ravi and mega supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej teamed up with a new movie, Jawaan. Lets analyse the film.
STORY LINE: Jai ( sai dharam) is the son a teacher who has learnt values and morals along with patriotic feeling. He aims to join the prestigious DRDO - defence research and development organisation and serve the country. Somehow he gets rejected. With that failure he keeps calm and moves ahead in his life. But, keshav ( prasanna) a notorious criminal and jais childhood friend wants to steal a newly developed missile by DRDO. His aim is to sell that to anti social elements. Now jai gets to know about keshavas plan, now being a responsible citizen he feels that every young man is a jawaan and gets ready to stop villans attempt to steal the missile. How did jai stopped the missile robbery and did he succeed in that? What other problems did he face and how did he tackled them is the rest of the story.
POSITIVE POINTS:
Sai dharams acting in emotional scenes was good.
Mehreens cute performance and glamour show is nice.
The story plotting was an interesting and nice thing.
The tactical fight between hero and villain in the second half is a big asset for the movie.
Thamans background score was awesome and apt for the story.
Interesting screenplay.
Stylish villain.
Sai dharams dances.
NEGATIVE POINTS:
The narration of the story was not new, it was similar to few movies like dhruva which were already done in the past.
The villanism was not that much elevated in competition to the heros character.
The action sequences were also not that great.
First half was weak and not exciting.
The DRDO set created was not that convincing.
The scene which showcases that how hero destroys missile robbery is not logical, it seems bit funny.
We couldnt get connected to the patriotic feeling in the movie.
The excitement in the second half is discontinued with a simple climax which has no impressive feeling of patriotism.
TECHNICAL ASPECTS: The production values were not that great. The art department didnt show their innovativeness in the movie. Editing and photography were nice. The beautiful locations were presented quiet well. Most of the songs were decent in terms of music and https://lyrics. Thamans music was quit good but not upto his mark.
PERFORMANCE: Sai dharam tej did his best performance until now. Mehreen also did justice to her role. Villain prasanna did a stylish job in terms of showcasing villanism. All other actors did their best and not worth mentioning specially. B.V.S.Ravi being an experienced writer, wrote an interesting story line with good tactical screen play. But he couldnt exhibit the feel and patriotic emotion. He failed to give a decent and logical touch to the story and he failed in execution of the story. Overall, jawaan movie is just a good story but its not going to entertain you or thrill you to a desired level. It includes few impressive scenes but it can not impress you as a whole. It was a work half done. If you want to have time pass then you can watch it but you cant enjoy it to the fulk extent. Finally it was a good attempt.
