I am here from July 2015. I am currently pursuing by BA hons in foreign language ( korean) at centre for Korean studies of this university. These days people are defaming this university by every possible means. But in reality there’s nothing like that. Ambience of this university is quite soothing. There are political parties but in current vice chancellor Jagdish kumar’s reign, no any single strike is being entertained. Currently he has implemented attendance compulsory in all disciples. He only focuses on study. Around 8000 students study here. Not only Indian but foreign students too come and study here. Way of getting into this university is through entrance examination. In BA programme it offers only foreign language courses. From MA onwards other disciples exist. There’s a facility of 24* 7 fully electrified and equipped central library. There’s hostel facility too. All this come through a minimal fee. For a semester around 700rs for Hostel and 108/176rs for tution is to be paid. Some hostels are co hostels in which girls and boys wings exist opposite to each other having same mess. While others are either girls or boys’ hostel. Hostels serve good quality meals at very low cost around 2500rs per month. Classes for BA run from 9am to 1am. Campus is now fully wi fied. There are sufficient teachers who not only teaches well but they remain available all the time for students.
There are bus stops inside the campus this makes easy to commute.
. Placement cell of this university helps students to get job. Alumni meet happens time to time. Every centre organises varieties of programmes throughout the year.
Really this is a fantastic university to get higher education at minimal cost.
