It’s been more than 100 hundred days since Jawan movie was released in theatres but I watched it just few days ago. If you’re reading this, you’re also one of them, who didn’t go to theatre to watch it. So today I won’t talk about movie story but I will talk about why this movie crossed more than thousands crores on box office.
Most films we watch are focused on just one topic or issue but Jawan openly talked about several issues like farmers suicide and high interest rates on agriculture machine and vans. It also shows Shahrukh takeover on a metro and he danced inside it, which is similar to the trend, we are seeing in today’s time in Delhi metro. Then it reels on corrupt health minister and officers of India and showed that how it becomes more dangerous where people rely on just one hospital and it is not good in condition.
Jawan also shows women participation in police forces and army can be used to get good outcomes in sensitive cases. Then it shows inside a jail, where prisoners were not serving the sentence but they were working to help others while living in the jail. By this scene, SRK set the example for a ideal jail and anyone can take inspiration from this. It also shows that what happens when a woman, who got the death sentence and got pregnant also in this period. In my knowledge, I think Jawan is the first movie, which highlight this law of India. Honestly I was unknown to this before watching Jawan movie.
It also shows a single mother and her daughter who are in search of a companion to live life happily and her little daughter was doing job of match maker for her mother and she was shown very smart just like the today’s new generation. And at the beginning it shows tribal community and culture of Arunachal Pradesh or Manipur. Which touches the heart of other minority communities of every parts of India.
Jawan movie songs were also the reason behind its success because you will watch a song playing in the movie after each 20 minutes and it’s BGM was also a cherry on the cake thing. Jawam theme song sung by Raja Kumari just won heart of millions and it suited a lot on SRK’s personality. 2018 and 2019 was those years, when zero movie get flopped and people were saying this is SRK’s end, but now the scenario is different, Shahrukh Khan is on his peak.
