Welcome to Hell!!

Hello friends! Today I would like to take you all for a journey to Hell in Bangalore!! I?m sure every city in India is made up of such small cells of HELL. My brother stays in Bangalore taking care of my parents. My mother is a heart patient and she has had a by pass surgery in November 2003 in JAYA DEVA HOSPITAL, Bangalore.

Today I got a call from my brother and he said ?We have admitted Amma <MOTHER>to hospital again? as she had severe chest pain. She has been admitted to Jayadeva Hospital in Bangalore where she was operated upon last year. My brother said he was not so willing to take her back to the same hospital. I asked him what happened and he narrated this incident to me. I was shocked and frustrated and had no words to describe this degraded attitude of medical crew.

When he took my mother to the hospital, he was asked to fill a form for admission. He says that was literally a booklet rather than just a form. My brother requested the hospital staff to provide first aid attention as my mother had difficulties breathing. Instead the staff who was in charge was arguing with one of medical representative because he had not received a FREE PEN.

We all know that the medical reps have to GIFT something to the hospital staff for approval of their pharmaceuticals. My brother had to shout and create a scene to get the attention of the hospital staff so that my mother could first aid attention. At last she was admitted. My mother is lying in the bed in ICU unattended by the doctors.

So my brother went to the concerned surgeon and informed him that my mother requires immediate attention. This surgeon was very busy reading the news paper in the afternoon. And he sincerely told my brother to go on and he would immediately follow him. My brother had to wait for I guess nearly an hour to get the surgeon. He had to bribe every other single staff available to get my mom admitted and taken care of properly.

My brother sounded so frustrated and said he wanted to take CARE OF each of these fellows PERSONALLY. Any ideas?
