JBL is a chinese company but heaving a clear sound quality.it is popularly well known for its bass that make him more attractive to everyone.Great quality sound. Note that the I models appear to have Apple-specific functions, but the headphones and mic work fine with my Droid phone.I love design, pouch and flat cord.I love JBL equipment generally, and these headphones sound great as I expect any JBL speaker system to sound. I bought these headphones for casual use to wear around or while relaxing, nothing active. I was honestly really surprised with how good they sounded. mellow midrange, smooth/even bass and soft treble. Easy to listen too. Not the last word in detail and dynamics, but this a sub $50 pair. Can’t have everything.
