Bought JBL Pulse from Flipkart few days back, though I would share my thoughts about the speaker. First of all the product is absolutely the same as shown in the advertisement, the LED light show is exactly the same, I know its obvious but sometimes u see something in ad and when u buy the reality is not the same. However not in this case.
Here is what I think about the speaker:-
The LED light show is one of its kind, its pretty awesome, u can control the colors, the pattern thought the touch pad at the top of the speaker.
The sound level is pretty high, its room filling.
Battery life is as described, 5 hrs with the LEDs on and 10 hrs w/o LEDs.
Bluetooth range - I have tested till 50 ft(length of my house) and it is fine till that level.
Connectivity - Tried connection through three equipments - Apple Iphone, Nexus 4 android and Vaio Laptop, all worked fine easily.
Bad Part
Sound quality is not that great as Bose soundlink mini (which is giving competitions to its elder brothers soundlink II and III as well).
Got no mic for taking call though the speaker itself.
I would give 4 ratings to the speaker. Its actually pretty awesome. I could have given it a 5 as well if I would not have been that crazy about sound quality.
This one is definitely a head turner for sure, so far everyone I have shown it cannot get enough of it.
