OMG. This is heavenly. I am testing the vintage perfume purchased on eBay. Rose and jasmine with other notes, perhaps sandalwood and civet, though not much civet on my skin.
More on the feminine side, and more on the old(classical) side, but it doesnt matter as long as it smells wonderful.I like it on the test strip, hate the way it opens on me, and then begin to enjoy it after the dry down. Its not a love, nor a buy from me, but I can picture the rose bouquet being lovely on others. On a vintage fix as of late. Recently aquired a vintage bottle of this classic and applied before bed.
It was the most sensuous roses I have ever smelled. So profound. My mind wandered to Versailles and their lush gardens and fountains. The scent made me feel as if I was wrapped in thousands of red rose petals. I could almost feel their velvety texture on my skin. Enthralling. Did not want to stop sniffing my wrist but eventually fell asleep. All flowers all the time. One of my all-time favorites, but super sweet and bold. I dont get many complements on it and I sometimes feel self-concious about overpowering a room, but I wear it for myself.Liquid femininity, slightly dated but effective. Very good.Once I had it. and I want it again! Fantastic, classic. Perfect.
