’’I am not copying KBC’’... seems to be the favourite line of the producers of JCPK. Each and everything is moulded to be different from KBC. But still the programme has its own magnetic effect... may Govinda be laughing at his own jokes alone... but makes it to glue us to the screen. Moreover, the shopping part is a wonderful addition (on lines of the classic old Pakistani Show ’’Neelaam Ghar’’).
The game show is much of an advertising capmaign than a game show ’coz it’s not at all difficult. There is also one contest for the viewers to be concluded after six episodes. Sounds interesting...
Govinda is a good actor but in the long run he is going to be a bore anchor (this is solely my own feeling) as he has not much of sense of humour to make people laugh at... but a few tricks and face expressions and sounds of his may feel interesting in the begining.
Not to be missed....
