I had registered with jeevansathi.com for finding an alliance for my son. The website says that you can view matches for free for a month. When I signed in, the website prompts you to pay. Since I did not pay at the time of registering I got a phone call from their office in NOIDA/Delhi and they said I can contact the prospective parties only if I am a paid member. They charged me around Rs 4000(paid in dollars) for a period of six months but wanted me to upgrade with more payments.They used to send me fake acceptances and as soon as I responded, the offers were withdrawn. I suspected some malpractice and contacted two parties directly on phone. They said they had never send any acceptance or rejection for my son’s profile. It turned out to be an ongoing fraud.
