New buyers take this experience as a learning to save yourself from harassment and losing money.
Had purchased a VU TV from flipkart with extended warranty and TV(VU products are equally cheap) got problems during warranty period raised a claim, claim accepted all was delayed(understandable due to lockdown) once the TV as picked refund was promised in 7-8 days. And they have closed the claim saying amount is paid. Total scam. I think they are siphoning these funds to their internal departments and closing users claim tickets. Flipkart has shamelessly redirected everything to jeeves and not taking any responsibility(Guess what is the product name called -Flipkart Protect)
Have gone through all resolution mechanisms, complaint to flipkart, to jeeves, on twitter, on government consumer helpline, flipkart has overturned them all.
I have sent a legal notice to them, lets see what happens.
Thousands of similar cases will be found on internet and youtube against Jeeves and flipkart.
Lessons learnt
Don’t fall for a product just because it is cheap(especially VU, yes I know all youtube reviews are claiming it is great. I fell for it too.) my all three VU TV’s of different models have conked off under 2 years.
Never ever buy anything from Flipkart or Jeeves(when customer doesn’t get heard, doesn’t matter how much billion day discount you give it will only take one bad transaction to wipe out all your discounts you got all the years)
