Cool As A Cucumber

Now that the heat of summer is here I want an all over body moisturizer that doesn’t feel heavy on my skin and make my skin feel like there was greasy coating to it.

I had tried quite a few all over moisturizers and most of them did a great job of keeping my skin soft and moisturized but they left that nasty film that I hate in the summer.

Three months ago I was looking for a moisturizer to replace the one I had just run out of and saw the Jergens Skin Cooling Moisturizer. I thought it was worth giving it a try. I have used Jergens since I was a small child and have really been pleased with the results.

I noticed that the bottle was a nice white color with a cool looking green cap with a flip top that was held with a self attaching hinge.

That made it extremely easy to use with one had and just using your thumb you could flip the cap open.

The Bottle is flat and easy to hold without slipping because there are grooves on the sides of it.

The Jergens Skin Cooling Moisturizer comes in a 10.5 fluid ounce bottle (315 ml) bottle. I haven’t been able to find it in a larger size. I guess that is because it is so new on the market.

Another thing that is nice is the cream inside the Jergens Skin Cooling Moisturizer is that same cool green as the cap. And the scent is so nice and refreshing. Crisp almost like after a spring rain. The scent isn’t offensive at all.

The feeling of the Jergens Skin Cooling Moisturizer isn’t heavy on the skin at all, it’s light and was what I was wanting for the awful heat of the summer months. I don’t have that awful film that I so dread.

Though it’s a good moisturizer, I need to use it more often than a regular moisturizer for my skin as my skin on very dry. I do believe it would work really well on normal skin better than it does on extremely dry.

The Jergens Skin Cooling Moisturizer has cucumber extract in it and cucumbers are well know for the cooling ability on the eyes so why not the rest of the body?

I don’t think anyone would be disappointed if they should try this product. It does not leave a greasy feeling but is absorbed into the skin quite readily.

INGREDIENTS:

water, glycerine, cetearyl alcohol, isododecane, sd alcohol 40-6B, Palm glyceride, ceteareth-20, glyceryl dilaurate, cetyl alcohol, c12-15 alkyl bensozte, cucumis sativus (cucumber fruit extract), proplene glycol, menthyl lactate, dimethicone, dmdm hydantoin, stearic acid, gragrance, methyparaben, propylparaben, sodium hydroxide, acrylates/C10-30, aklyl acrylate crosspolymer, carbomer, blue 1, yellow 5.

Those are the ingredients that were listed on the bottle. I haven’t a clue as to what these are but I listed them just in case someone might have an allergy to anything on the list.

DIRECTIONS

Apply as often as desired.

With this product or any other product make sure to use caution especially around small children. Keep it up out of their reach.
