I was a usual passenger in Jet airways, until, I did a rebooking for my flight. Unfortunately due to delay in arrival of connecting flight I had to re-schedule my Jet airways flight for next day. The re-scheduling was done by my relative, since I was not in India. The re-scheduling was done. When I arrived at Jet airways counter to collect my boarding pass I was asked to pay the rescheduling charges again. I had no other option but to pay it since they dont have any system which updates the re-scheduling automatically in the database. And guess what, if you happen to be one of the passenger in Mumbai international terminal and looking for a ticket from Jet airways counter, you will be issued a ticket written by hand just like old style Indian railway system ( I really appreciate the Indian railways service now) -the effect poor and slow service.
I have spend hours talking to the Manager of Jet airways, they seem to be convinced about the double rebooking charge but as usual nobody takes any responsibilities and try to improve the system. I dont have much regrets about loosing the money, but I regret that the number of hours and days I have spent to bring the situation to the knowledge of jet airways has left me totally frustrated about the whole deal. So think twice before rebooking your ticket in Jet Airways.
