This is a follow up upon my earlier Horrific incident with Jet Airways. This is what happened after Jet denied boarding without a doc to us for medical emergency(despite agreeing earlier that a nurse accompanying will do).
The irresponsible doc gave us a number of the doc who would be willing to travel with us on the flight. When we contacted him, following were the DEMANDS the doc kept:
I will travel with one assistant
Both me and my assisstant will only travel biz class
A flat charge of Rs.30, 000/- would be charged for the services
I wonder how much "cut" the Jet doc would make on it(I guess if there is a journo amongst us in this community, Here is a Sting Operation worth the try to expose the nexus fully).
If it is a necessary condition imposed by Jet to hv a doc on board for such cases, then THEY should provide it as it is THEIR requirement. Who knows they might ask the travellers to an accompanying chef, waiteress and one litre air fuel in order to board their flight(Seriously, they can going by the way their filthy attitude is)
Anyways, we realized by this time that these were ploys to keep us from boarding Jet flight. We realized that we hv suddenly been relegated to second class citizens in our own country by an airline which prides itself on being Indian.
FOR EVERYBODY’s INFO: When we approached another airline, the procedure were followed, there was no hanky-panky and delaying tactics. and the child is on the way to get the correct medical attention which is his right. TAKE THAT JET. U SHOULD HANG YOUR HEADS IN SHAME for customer apathy.
I wish that that irresponsible doc finds his family in such a medical emergency situation and all his Medical Knowhow is of NO use. I curse u.from the core of my heart
