Web check in with jet airways- just forget bout it

Piling up the frustrations with a battery of annoying arrangements at each and every step during travel - that summarizes the Jet airways on board experience best.Have traveled multiple times in jet airways- In the overseas sector from DOHA to Cochin and back. Never in my life I was able to complete the web check in. The system needs the name exactly matching to what given in their system- even spaces.


Even if you manage to get it by calling the call center, you will get the connection reset in the last step. No obvious error message will come. This also not an isolated event - Happened so many times from India and  Qatar. If you send e mail to the company with the complaint - you get absolutely no response.


Then at the airport-the passengers including infants and elderly standing in front of the boarding gate for 30 minutes and in the shuttle bus for nearly 20 minutes- could you imagine this?


The return flight had no in-flight entertainment systems -when asked, crew informed that it is a domestic flight used up in international sector. They even had the arrogance to insist on switching off the mobile phones while on cruise- Hearing for the first time as normally the flight mode in mobile phone is allowed except during landing and take off in all the flights in the world. Wouldn’t even consider a jet airways flight next time.
