Travelled on Jet Konnect from Madurai to Chennai 21:05 flight and had a bad experience with the staff and the policies which came as a surprise at the airport. Have travelled with Konnect several times and they do permit baggage allowance equal to the allowance provided by international flights if there is a connection ticket shown. However was shocked to hear the counter employee say that they do no permit more than 20 kgs per person. And more concerning was the policy that they do no provide any baggage allowance for infants.
My concern here is that these policies could not be found anywhere in the printed e-ticket or in their website. That makes me doubt if their intention is to make money by not making their policies clearly documented anywhere.
Moreover, the employee was unwilling to explain or hear anything from me regarding the policies. She silenced me saying that if she allows extra baggage, her salary will be reduced accordingly (which is funny but irritating given the circumstances.)
Had to pay 4K extra for the extra weight as they were unwilling and arrogant in handling their guests. Will never travel by jet airways again until they make their policies well documented and transparent.
