I always regarded Jet airways as nice company with best experience but after this interaction I feel it nothing more than a money taking company doing business just for once with people ready to pay. The customer service guys are so bad and ineffective that for simple cancellation I had to call three times. Calling was not enough and I had to wait for more than 20 minutes to talk to the guy in Miles department after routing 3 times in the normal booking.
After all this, the CS guy says that the policy of company is such that it would make the loss of the customer even if it is clearly a fraud. Out of the expiring miles, I booked two tickets before expiry date. I am still traveling but I had to cancel my fellow travelers ticket and all the expiring mile got forfeited for cancelling the second ticket. My logic says that the expiry miles should be adjusted against either the frequent flier member’s booking or the first traveler in the ticket. If not then at max half-half for each ticket but no, all the expiring miles were adjusted against the ticket I was cancelling so that I don’t get any miles back. They should have better written as policy that we DON’T return anything to anybody. Why do fraud in disguise.
Earlier they have done the same by not providing my miles from United Airlines whereas UA says I should have received enough miles for my class of international travel. I am seriously hopeless on this airline now.
