I’ve traveled twice between New York (JFK) and Chennai (MAA) and have found Jet Airways quite reliable..if excellent! Both times have seen on time flights, clean planes, professional staff, excellent in-flight service (meals and media) and I really don’t have complaints about the airline. The transit at Brussels (BRU) is efficient and one doesn’t feel the usual sluggishness and exhaustion when in transit during other transit points via Europe. I travel to India from the U.S. every year and I’ve flown several European and Asian carriers and I find this connection is much smoother and more efficient than others.
These days we’re lucky to have any service and attention and Jet so far has been great about all this. The check in process both in JFK and MAA have been good. I’ve taken trips to Belgium on this airline too and have found the counters at BRU to be equally good.
An excellent move to have Jet Airways fly west and I’m glad Americans, Canadians and Europeans have had the chance to use one of India’s finest!
