I am a frequent flyer. I used to fly 5-6 round trips each month till recently and have now cut down the flying to about 2 round trips a month. Till a couple of years ago (when my travelling was more frequent) I used to travel economy but am now almost always travelling business class. I am in the frequent flyer club with Jet, Indian and Sahara. The reason I am giving so much details about myself is to let the reader know my profile and then to read the review in that context.
Usually, people write reviews based on a specific good / bad experience. My review is not based on one experience but a series of experiences.
What I like about Jet Airways (JA) is that they are very professional. The best part of them is that the flights are usually on time. The staff is very polite and courteous. They are also well groomed and immaculately dressed. They take great care to make their passengers feel well cared for.
The food that they serve is of a very high quality. They take great care while choosing the menu and also should be having strict standards with the vendors who supply the food. No wonder that the same supplier who provides meals in JA has a very different quality and standard when it comes to other airlines like Indian.
The small innovations that they do (for instance addressing each customer with their names) really make one feel good and want to keep going back to them. I also love the way they fulfil their social obligations with such sincerity and commitment - they have inflight donations for an NGO whom they support called "Save the Children".
It is not that JA is perfect. They have their share of issues too - for instance being seen as too rigid and inflexible sometimes. However, their strengths far outweigh their weakness. I once found myself travelling in JA with an old friend who is based out of UK and fequently flies internationally. He summed up saying that he found JA even better than all the various international airlines that he has flown for over a decade..
Hats off JA... Keep up the good work !!
