I have flown in Jet airways more than 60 times. I was a gold card member now I dont travel much. I find this airline really good. Although it went though a lot of turbulence recently but still it has stood in hard times.
The airline look is very professional - decent color of the aircrafts, nice color of uniforms of the staff. Punctuality most of the times. Nice and attentive cabin crew. Friendly check in staff, clear announcments, easy boarding process, comfortable flights, good seating, easy baggage handling and comfortable journey overall. I find it one of the airlines who have laid a benchmark in the indian aviation industry. I had taken a jet Konnect flight from Mumbai to Chennai and back in the last week.
I found the Journey really good. Smooth take off and landings. I really appreciate the way the airline has shaped up their business in this tough recession times, Jet Konnect the no frills, low fares aircraft and a full service Jet airways. Kingfisher started the concept of in flight entertainment but Jet has mastered it. The inflight entertainment is really good especailly on the long hauls. The staff is very well trained. The airlines appers to be very professional and decent in looks unlike a funliner like Kingfisher (no bias for Jet as Kingfisher is best in its category). The international service offered is also very fine and up to the mark of any other international carriers.
The coaches for transport of passengers, airline lounges at airports are good. The journey has always been plesant everytime. 3 times I was upgraded to business class and the serice is awesome there.
Air india should learn something from JET. JET will continue to fly sky high in future, these are my best wishes for the airlines.
