Please find below my letter to jet airways about the terrible experience they have given me and my family.
Had the most pathetic experience ever because of jet airways. I have traveled to various foreign countries from the best of best airlines and I had high hopes from Jet but I am terribly disappointed.
1) I traveled from Jet on 16th March, 2015 from Mumbai to Dubai(Flight No. 9w 544 seatno.32F). Ive never tasted such pathetic food ever in my life. Seriously! Please dont serve food rather than serving this pathetic stuff.
2) My father traveled from Mumbai to Dubai on 19th March, 2015(Flight No. 9w 542 seat no. 15D). Firstly there was no alcohol served on the flight. My father took jetairways only to enjoy all the on board services. not so that you serve him half heartedly. If you cant serve alcohol dont claim to give good services for people who looking forward to a good vacation starting with your terrible flight service. Lets not even talk about the food- too pathetic and what you served him(1 omlette and pav) is not what you call breakfast. Please travel from other flights and learn some service lessons. who handles your food department really? theyneed some training.
BIGGEST DISSAPOINTMENT: when my father landed in Dubai his 2 bags were missing. Please read the date again 19th March and today is 25thwe still dont know where our luggage is. wow shouldnt the world know about it? well I will make sure I make your excellent service famous. now those bags had gifts for our family whom we were visiting- please imagine our embarrasement of going empty handed. All thanks to you!
3) After considerable follow-ups your laid back staff could not give any solutions for our lost bags so they wrote an email to us saying that our return journey back to Mumbai dated 22nd March, 2015 will be seamless. well somehow I fell for your fake promises but not for long. when we reached the airport I had 71kgs of luggage for 2 people which makes our total alloance of 76kgs. So technically we were underweight. Now since I was travelling with a cardiacpatient I reuested that all my luggage be consdered for check-in. Your staff was aware we are the same passengers whom ou have promised a seamless journey but not much to my survive they were least helpful and insisted I open my luggage infront of hundreds of people and shift 11kgs to my hand huggage. Now I was also told that they can provide me 3kgs grace per person which means my allowed checkin was 66kgs and I had just 5kgs extra. I know for a fact that if I had paid extra for luggage Iwould be allowed to carry event that. But please please please tell me why should I pay extra because the reason why even I couldnt not carry something in hand is coz my bags whch I could have carried in hand were stolen by your staff on 19th(refer to complain no 2). Now after harrasing me at the airportyour direspectful staff and so called customer care staff had no manners at all. The only way your staff tried to make ou journey seamless was send a porter and a representative on Mumbai airport to pick our luggage. Like hello! you made us carry luggage in hand on the airport now what extra service are you trying to provide. and guess what your representative didnt even know why she was sent to pick us up.
The only reason I am ending this is because I cant stand even thinking about the experiecne you guys have provided us. The most pathetic jounery ever all thanks to JET AIRwAYS! Absolutely terrible flight. Unfortunately for you I am very ediucation, have a journalism background and am a digital marketeer. I will not leave this issue lighty. I have already informed my family and friends who by the way are in big number and extrely freuent travellers not to travel with Jet Airwayas ever. Now its time to tell the world teh truth about what you did with me and my father.
