I am a Jet Privilege Member. I had booked a flight through redemption of tickets PNR - JNBEYL. However, the flight from Goa-Mumbai on 26th May 2012 was rescheduled which made it impossible for me to take the other onward flight from Mumbai to Vadodara on the same PNR. I had to therefore request your team for immediate cancellation of the Goa-Mumbai flight and I had to go ahead with the booking of another flight last minute at a whopping additional cost of Rs.3, 980/-from Goa-Mumbai from another airline, so that I could board the Mumbai-Vadodara flight.
To my misfortune, the other airline’s flight has also been rescheduled to arrive Mumbai at 17:35 hrs, thereby making it impossible again for me to board your Mumbai-Vadodara flight in my above PNR. I have now requested your team over the telephone for the cancellation and refund of my taxes paid and redeposit of miles. To my surprise, I was told I would be charged Rs.150/- transaction charges. Upon the inconvenience caused to me at your end due to last minute rescheduling of your flight and me incurring additional cost of making an alternate travel arrangement, you are charging me an additional cost of Rs.150/- to add to my woes? This is really unprofessional and unfair on your part as there is no fault of me as the consumer.
I had asked Jet Privilege to refund me the taxes paid and redeposit the miles for the entire Goa-Mumbai and Mumbai-Vadodara journey to my account at the earliest. However, the only credit so far received by me towards the entire transaction is Rs.590/- on 11.06.2012. Out of the total Rs.1403/- paid by me, I was informed that I would get the refund of Rs.1175/-. Now why is this this injustice being done to me?
And why don’t you email me the refund advices so that I can have the proof of the credit generated by you? Without you sending me any refund advice, how can I cross-verify the amounts you claim to have refunded to me? This is a serious harrassment being done to me.
