I have travelled in this Jet airways flight thrice till now and I have had a bad ear pain everytime. Not sure if its becoz of boeing aircraft or me sitting next to the wing or the pilot forgets to control the air craft pressure?
They food is good but quantity is a little less compared to flights like Kingfisher and may be even Indian Airlines. Definitely the quality of food served is good.
These guys dont mind delaying the flight for a couple of passengers if needed. Especially if the passenger is a jet privilege member. I noticed this when I was stuck up in Delhi airport becoz of fog. I was sitting rt in front of their check-in counter and noticed ppl making such requests and they say they can delay the flight by 10 - 15min without any problem.
Their seats are pretty small. If a fat guy sits in the middle seat and you are in the aisle seat, you are going to have a tough time. The air-hostess would be hitting your hand everytime they cross you. Not to mention if you are sandwiched between two big guys in the middle seat:-)
Mostly corporate guys fly in this and the atmosphere is not that relaxed. Everyone with a PDA or a Financial times paper in their own world, one just does not feel like enjoying the flight experience. It is also pretty obvious at times that the air hostess give more priority to these guys and their kids. Everyone not in this bracket is just a passenger. Their hospitality level differs a lot. When I travelled with my dad, and when I travelled myself it was different. I may look like a college student but unfortunately I am not.
Once I switched on my cell in the aircraft after it landed and I heard the noise of a few other passengers having switched on their cell phones and their smses beeping(authentic nokia sms tone). The door was yet to be opened but as the others had switched on, I also did, the air hostess came all the way and told me to switch the phone off but was not bothered about the other passengers who had done so much before me. This is definitely not acceptable.
