I am Sreenath Reddy. I was traveling from Hyd to BLR on 1st January 2007. The flight was scheduled at 8:00 in the night.That day there was fog problems in Delhi so flight are not coming from Delhi. So I called up Air Sahar, if my flight is canceled. They said it is preponed by 30 min. So I reached the airport early. They got the boarding pass and waiting. Until 8 ’o clock there is no person in the Airport lounge to tell us any information. I called the phone number given on the Boarding pass but it is of no help.
No body picked up that call. Since security check is over, we can not go back to the counter.. at around 8:30 one person appeared and said flight is delayed due to Fog in Delhi. She did not tell us even that time , that flight is canceled. Since then several Air Sahara people coming and telling different versions of lies to keep the passengers waiting. Passengers are angry on the way they were lying. At 12 PM in the night also they were telling flight is waiting in the Air port.. Pilot is signing the papers to travel.. All lies.. and in spite of shouting on them to give the Manager name, nobody gave us. Passeners were out rageous and some of them scoulded very badly.. still they did not tell us the truth and kept us waiting.
No food or water supplied to us..And at around 1PM they said flight is canceled.. People started shouting on the airlines.. but by that time many escaped out of air port. few people remaining who do not have any power.It was such a bad expirience that I decided never to travel in Air Sahara.Govt. said delay more than 2 hours.. Air lines should pay penalty. But nothing like that they are interested to do. They just stood like pillers in the air port.. like rain on buffellows they did not spoke anything.
Later at 2 they gave accomodation in hotel, and gave another ticket at 6 in the morning. That means they wantedly delayed the waiting in order to get cheaper hotel deal. We are hardly 2 hours in the hotel they provided.. since we need to return by 5 in the morning.I advice to all not to travel in Air Sahara. This is the only way we can show our reaction to them.ThanksSreenath
