I had booked tickets for mumbai-gorakhpur & back wid jetlite thru their IVR system on 26/3/09 @ 12 noonusing my HDFC credit card.
Due to some system error at their end my payment was not received by jetlite for the same. but my banker had initiated the transaction and debited my credit card with Rs. 21, 816/- (1 adult = Rs.19, 208/- + 1 infant= Rs. 2, 608/-)
So for confirmation I had to forcibly book fresh tickets which I had done on 26/03/09 @ 6.43 p.m. with the same PNR and jetlite confirmed the receipt of the second payment for the same. now in my credit card statment of april 09 both the payments r reflecting and in my credit card statement of may 09 the earlier transaction was reversed from jetlite. When I cancelled my original tickets that amt was too reversed after deduction of cancellation chgs of rs. 3000/-.
Uptill now the jetlite account was clear but suddenly in my credit card statement of july 09 again a single transaction of rs. 2608/- is reflecting. When I contacted my bank they told me that jetlite is claiming this payment from them so they ve charged the same to me. I dont know y these jetlite people r claiming this amount when they agreed to the fact tht they recd double payments from the bank.
When I called jetlite they instructed to mail the matter and I mailed them on 16/9/09 alongwith the attatchments of my credit card statments with all the transactions marked for their easy reference for which I have only recd the acknowledgement mail bt no response till dt. i. e. 8/10/09.
These people kill time so tht customer will get fed up wid them & stop following for such a small amt. so they dont even bother to reply. I would suggest it is better to book ur tickets wid a reputed airlines rather than running behind these people in case of any disputes. I m sure I will not leave these poeple and will sue them even for rs. 2600/- it not the question of money here but there is a need to teach them a lesson.
