I have recently purchased Air Ticket for Guwahati-Delhi-Bangalore, for journey on 1st January, 2007. We all know the fog condition in Delhi. Thus our flight was diverted to Lucknow on 1st where we were provided lodging and fooding. On 2nd Jan, 2006, we finally reached delhi on 2nd Jan evening 5 pm. Reaching delhi was where all the problem started. After standing in line for three hours at 7 pm we were told that our tickets were cancelled. Though they had a flight leaving for Bangalore at 7.20 and 7.45 pm, there were no seats for the passengers who has their flight journey date as 1st of January, 2007.
Needless to say the lady at the counter(in-Charge) Mrs Pooja was extremly un co-operative, rude and abusive. We were still made to stand at thecounter for baggage clearance for another 1 and half hour till 8.30 pm. Finally letting us know that she could not do anything, even now no answer.The only answer we recived was WE DONT KNOW, PLEASE WAIT. How long should we wait waiting for, it took us almost 3 days 2 reach BANGALORE FROM GUWAHATI. Starting on 1st of Jan, 2007 and reaching bangalore 3rd of jan, 2007. We would have been stuck forever had not KINGFISHER HELPED US.
Finally based on our initative we met a senior official, who gave us ticket for 3rd Jan, 2007 to Bangalore for 7.10 am in the morning . Which was most likely to be cancelled. On 3rd Jan the flight was cancelled and we were told that the only way was refund of fare. Luckily I had friends in delhi where I could stay. As no accomodation was provided. Finally we decided to cancel the ticket and book flights from Kingfisher were as always the service and attendents provide extreme care and world class support. This was the first experience with AI SAHARA and the LAST FOR SURE.
May SAHARA AIRLINE learn Something from KINGFISHER AIRLINES.
