Ok, so what has winter in Delhi got to do with a flight from B’lore to Mumbai u ask.
The butterfly effect. If you dont know what it means look up on google.
Actually, not really, but winter in Delhi means heavy fog, which means poor visibility, which means flights grounded, which means the Delhi to Mumbai is delayed by atleast a few hours, which means the Mumbai-B’lore and consequently the B’lore-Mumbai is delayed by, at least 4-5 hours.
Now this has happened to me twice this winter season. You would say, ’’fool me once, shame on u, fool me twice, shame on me’’. But see, I got fooled the first time in Jan, which is peak winter, so the next time I need to take another flight which in March, I say to myself, it is end of winter, no fog right. Wrong, foggy again and thins time I reach Mumbai @ 3:00AM (in Jan atleast I reach around 1:00AM).
Now coming to Air Sahara. Why wud they let a known issue like fog in Delhi effect other routes, cos they have little regard for passenger convenience.
Why would they not announce the delay at B’lore airport, cos they would like to get your ticket money and then forget about you.
Why would they not train their pilots on the new ILS @ Delhi airport, which BTW was installed specifically for the fog, cos they would rather not spend any money on training their pilots, lest they run away to other airlines.
On top of that, they will serve you the same food which was meant for the flight to take off 5 hours ago. Which means you get really hot, really dry, mass of rice and dry bread.
And, to top it off, you have to sit at the airport and bear the agony of seeing Jet and IA flights to Mumbai take off (with nominal delays offcourse).
So, dont make the same mistake that I did. Spend an extra 500 bucks one-way, and fly Jet, so that you take off on time (see I dont promise u will reach there ;-)
