Sahara Airlines, to start with, does not allow passengers to book tickets online on the date of travel. Suppose I want to travel today evening , I cannot book online tickets. half of the times the site is down in the evenings, this can also get very frustrating. the other modes that is through the travel agents and phone booking is conveinent enough. The check in counters are plenty and help with baggage is available. Its got a reputation for being on time. On flight service is good. The flight attendants are very helpful and they have an excellent collection of newspapers onboard. The food is decent and they do give jain food. the flight overall is comfortable. Baggage allowance is 20kg as compared to 30kgs allowed by Indian. The prices are more competitive than Indian for few sectors. However Indian flies more sectors than Air Sahara. Both the airlines have reclinable emergency exit seats. The food of Indian tastes better than that of Air Sahara. The inflight magazine of Indian is more entertaining than Air Sahara. The frequent flyer programme of Indian Airlines is pretty beneficial with its upgrades and extra baggage allowances. Though Air sahara gives its passengers a Cosmos card in their first flight. The permanent card doesnt turn up after several inquiries. In comparision, Air sahara is comfortable travelling but Indian airlines is beneficial for those who are always on the move and dont know when they will travel next.
