Hey guys i watch this reality show called Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and wanted to write on it so please bear with me if its not at all informative......... First of all I would like to justify myself on why I have rated POOR on its plot, well well the simple reason being that they dont have a plot of their own. I know it hurts but unfortunately its true that even this reality show is copied from a show called Dancing with the Stars. Here I would like to thank sony for atleast accepting openly that this show is not an original concept but why was sony beating the trumphet about this "choraya hua idea" ?
Sometime back it came out in Bombay Times about how Akashdeep Sehgal, a participant, is badmouthing about the 3 judges of the show after being eliminated. But we all know that its just a publicity stunt , the producer must have paid Akashdeep, to say those thing, and to the Jury to bear the insult. Otherwise Akashdeep is not a fool to take panga from the most established people of the film fraternity and ruin his career. Also, this show is not a live show so if the administration felt that Akashs comments are derogatory for the image of the show or if the judges would have felt insulted & complained then these parts could have been easily edited before getting telecast.
One more thing I would like to mention is a very weird thing that happened throughout the last week episode. I noticed that when Archana Puran Singh(host) was asking people to vote for the respective pair, instead of putting the mike infront of her and speaking into it she was actually holding it infront of the participants who were done with their talking and keeping mum that time.
It looked so weird !!!!!!!!! Why the hell the Management and the creative department of Jhalak Dikhla JAA is so anti-editing that even when its needed badly they dont use it ? And why dont they put their little brains to work and think of some Innovative (means which is not copied) ideas for the publicity of the show as its their job and are paid for this.
For now we could only Pray for the betterment of Reality shows on Indian television.
Cheers,
Neeru.
