Not so bad eh

Well a lot has been said about this film and not all good things...

STill in its third week I decided to go and have a dekko for myself

The multiplex playing the movie was well not half empty nor half full... since we were sitting in the last row, the only worry my friends had of me getting up and dancing in the aisle...

Would have loved to do so (following the footsteps of junior AB - who apparently did the same during the screening of the film), but the film really didn’t move me too much!!!

Although I didn’t think the film was bad either...

There were quite a few things about the film that I really liked. But those later.. first let me tell you the things that I couldn’t stand

Abhishek’s loud and jarring clothes top my list for sure - although he carried it off with strange conviction

The first half of the film was quite slow

The fact that Preity gets edgy to go look for Abhishek after they part for the first time, is actually a give away to the story of the film.

THe fact that Bobby is the only good dancer to have a dance competition as a major portion of the second half - not the greatest idea

Well that apart, loved Mr B dancing to JBJ song at every probable opportunity.

Loved the basic love story idea in the film. In today’s time and age when we don’t really know whether or not we should trust strangers, at some point or the other we all have come up with some or other kind of a fib.. well I know I have !!!!!!!!!!

So it was identifiable at that level..

Lara Dutta was pretty impressive but the one I completely adored in the film was Bobby D. As the stud and as the momma’s boy Sattu he was just too good.

Bobby D has it all and somehow there are very few films and filmmakers who have cared to exploit his talent. Good for SHaad Ali...

This film would not have been as entertaining as Shaad’s previous works ie. Saathiya or Bunty & Bubli but this one has its own charm..

PS. Love Vaibhavi’s choreography, especially the song Bol Na Halke Halke...

Worth a miss... maybe!! But if you do watch it, go in just to pass those three hours!!!!
