!!!...An INSULT to the filmmaking...!!

If anyone should be hanged till death for wasting resources, energy, potential and audience’ time in the name of bad filmmaking in bollywood, there is not anyone more suitable candidate then Shaad Ali Sehgal for directing such a useless piece of crap, and then the YashRaj banner for supporting this Shaad in his extremely horrible film product.

I strongly believe that even his miracly superhit Bunty aur Bubbly was equally stupid and a mental torture and only because of  luck it clicked, but as we all know that flock is for only once so this time another junk piece of Shaad just went into the dustbin.

The film is so unbelievable that it seems an insult to the audience’s intelligence. Agreed that it’s a light comedy but there should be logic even in the illogical things. Foe example Andaz apna apna is I think the most illogical flick, but it was meant like that and as an out & out comedy it showed what it has promised and there was no to be beleaived LOVE and emotional scenes in AAA unlike JBJ . Even David Dhawan’s films are not that illogical and does not takes its audience for granted, for example in Coolie no 1, Hero no 1 or Raja Babu, when David shows love or emotional scenes, the audience understand and can relate with them as they make some sense afterall, unlike JBJ where audience pull their hair after coming out of cinema halls. The various aspects that pinches everyone after watching this waste of time i.e. JBJ are:

  • Why the hell both of Pretty and Abhishek fell in love as there was no attraction shown. As Abhi was shown a loud mouthed stupid from whom the sophisticated Pretty got annoyed and irritated everytime whenever that jerk Abhi opened his big stinky mouth, then why the hell on earth most beautiful feeling love jumped between them…. Rubbish…. Utter rubbish.

  • Amitabh’s long guest appearance minute after minute seems an amateurish approach in the filmmaking technique and craft.

  • The fake stories that they have made seems more fake when they try us to believe them before intermission.

  • Why the hell on earth they become so obsessed with each other that they took help of a businessman and a hooker to get each other jealous from their partners.

  • The screenplay was patchy and jerky, no consistency and flow. Sorry to say that the song and dance sequence does not give any pub effect or whatever as exaggerated by some MS members, but gives only huge headaches.

  • It seems that the director does not have any deep knowledge about Muslims. A portrait showing Quran’s Verses hanging on pretty’s room wall was shown in a scene that is such a stereotype. Teenage or young muslim girls or boys don’t hang such religious portraits in their private rooms, especially if they are brought up in London and such portraits are only find in conservative muslims’ drawing rooms or bedrooms of very old and religious people.

All the actors were wooden especially Pretty who played herself as usual. I don’t know from where she looked a pure muslim or Pakistani breed to Yash Raj that after veerzara they again give her a Pakistani Muslim girl role…. Lara Dutta is the only saving grace who acted with pleasant confidence and looked very charming especially in the pick mini skirt in the last scene.

I think everybody should neglect these kinda waste of time and get some lesson from the warnings instead of going to the multiplexes and burning their money and wasting their precious time.
