Yash Raj - An ace director who had given us a classics like Deewar, Trishul, Silsila, Chandni, Lamhe to DDLj but now a businessman or u can call M3(money making machine) good promotion, attractive starcast, peppy music, good locations, young feel bought audience for 1st week and make money and quality is now on backseat of his mind. Jhoom barabar Jhoom belongs to later part of Yash Raj.
Shaad Ali - When I saw Saathiya I was not fully convinced but still I thought this director can do well in future . Bunty and Babli comes and become hit but to me its a bad movie and I realise he is another Joker(except siddharth anand and Kunal Kohli) in Yashraj camp now I told my friends that I dont want to watch JBJ because of Shaad Ali but they forced me in theatre and Shaad ali leaves upto me expectations.
Now Movie:*
Theater is packed as expected movie begins on high note with good locales, peppy music than comes Abhishek and Priety waiting for their fiances at railway station . They start talking to each other initialy they had some differences and bit of arguments and they start telling each other about their love stories and in process they fell for each other . Then there is twist too but I should not write further bcos u ppl will see this even if I dont recomment.
Analysis:
story is intresting if we through logic out but script is poor and screen play is bad too and that makes the movie Boring.Actually story at one point stands still on one point and it seems director is focussing more on looks than on story and truth is good body can touch ur eyes but its good heart that touches your soul and this movie is heartless.
*Performance:
*Abhishek is very good infact close to excellent if Abhi is not there than it would have been torture of a movie .
Preity again proves why Yash and Karan trust her so much . Now she got what u need in a actress to carry a movie on her shoulders.
Lara and Bobby have insignificant roles infact as I thought they just work in this movie to join Yash Raj camp and u also know even bad films of Yash brand becomes hit.
Technical*
Good cinematography by I dont know who has done it . Good locales nice background score and Music by SEL is high point of movie as it really make u move your feet specially title track.
Oh! Amitabh too I forgot is there for song only which comes in movie in regular intervals .So dont go fo him
Outcome
I dont recomemnd this movie it dont entertain you and nigther its a comedy as it seems in promos but it will be a hit for sure as Yash Raj(money making Machine wala) cant go wrong
