Jhoota hi Sahi - simply beautiful

Cry Cry .This one’s on the trailer and makes for interesting hearing, although it * is another’Aditi’ song aka Chartbuster! But has its own zing and flavour. Rashid Ali pitches in yet another sincere effort. Shreya Goshal is likeable this time. The song will remind you of Aditi’ from JTYJN. Unconventional structuring the song as usual is its plus. Awesome feel good song. lifts u up!

Do Nishaniyan.Sonu Nigam’s back!Good to hear him at his best. Extremely melodious and just takes your breath away . slowly. A melancholy at heart, the song will surely have you humming by yourself! beauty! Also note the Heartbreak version of the song, Sonu takes it to another level!

Maiyya Yashoda.A typical festive song. naturally abt the Janmashtami. Probably the weakest number in the album. Nevertheless, Chinmayi and Javed Ali pitch in an earnest effort. Thik Thak.

Hello Hello . Probably the title song, crooned by Karthik(my fav.!) makes for a nice casual hearing. Simple lyrics and not so complicated percussion and tune. You’ll like it. note the way dial tones are used in the song. innovative!

Pampara. An all girl song. Peppy and hip, will be liked by the ladies( or the girls at heart!). Shreya Goshal does a decent job.

I’m Waiting. Song of the album. Vijay Yesudas does a fabulous job with vocals and ofcourse the master himself with the sax! Again has a resemblance to the title track of JTYJN, in terms of music arrangement and the instruments. Oh the sound of Sweet Saxophone! Jazzy and dreamy!

Call me Dil. Rashid Ali comes back with this solo number. The title track, a nice sweet melody with guitar and symphony mainly supporting the vocals.

Jhoota hi sahi isn’t the album which will testify the range of Rehman. However, it is an answer to those who think he can’t repeat his compositions again! I mean no offense to Pritam and Harris Jayraj who seem to rehash tunes and produce hits! Rehman can do it too! and that is also the minus point of the album, lacks in variation but nonetheless an enjoyable album

Dreamy and easy on the ear! Go for it!
